Critical flood-recovery projects have reopened important parts of Kruger National Park, including reconstructed culverts on the busy H4-1 corridor and the restored Letaba High-Level Bridge.
The work follows damaging floods and includes wider water openings, strengthened embankments and improved drainage. Twenty-five tourism units at Letaba Rest Camp have also returned to service, with more restoration scheduled in phases.
The upgrades matter beyond visitor travel: park roads and bridges support ranger movement, science, emergency response and daily conservation operations.
